Welcome to round three of the wedding poem challenge - "Something New!".

I know that for those of you in the northern hemisphere, you'll be heading towards longer warmer days, and maybe that is good reading weather for you (I know it is for me). And treating yourself to something new -- recently published, recently acquired, a new enthusiasm -- is a great way to celebrate that. For those of us heading towards hibernation in the southern hemisphere (yes, I know, what I call cold is what some of you call shorts weather), curling up with a brand new book is still a treat.

So, with no further ado, tell us what new thing you are hoping to read in the month of June!

I'm currently reading a recently published book for my book club, but that feels a bit like cheating since I was... already reading it for book club. (A Desolation Called Peace)

I have a new book on the docket after a post over in fandom_secrets that will be a new-to-me author in a favorite genre, but also.... I think I would have read it in June anyway! (Wise Child)

I have a lot of ebook backlog, so I think finishing the one I bought most recently will be a nice way to dig into that and to engage with the challenge to my satisfaction. (The Venus Project)
