Challenge: Something new!

Welcome to round three of the wedding poem challenge - "Something New!".

I know that for those of you in the northern hemisphere, you'll be heading towards longer warmer days, and maybe that is good reading weather for you (I know it is for me). And treating yourself to something new -- recently published, recently acquired, a new enthusiasm -- is a great way to celebrate that. For those of us heading towards hibernation in the southern hemisphere (yes, I know, what I call cold is what some of you call shorts weather), curling up with a brand new book is still a treat.

So, with no further ado, tell us what new thing you are hoping to read in the month of June!

I had been expecting to be in the middle of reading Hugo nominees at this point, so I thought I had the whole challenge sorted. And then I've flaked on the whole thing. Instead, umm. There is a pile of new-to-me books -- bought this year, although many are second hand--and I really really want to have read at least two of them this month. Stretch goal is four.
