glinda: just trying to read (books/reading)
[personal profile] glinda posting in [community profile] readingtogether
November has almost moad an exit from our lives, so its time to look back and report back on what we read this month. Did you get through everything you wanted this month? Or did you read something entirely different? Discover anything new or odd about your reading habits?

Did you saunter over your self-set target deadline - or blast it out of the water like [personal profile] peaceful_sands! - or were you (are you depending on your timezone) reading furiously right up to the final minute of the final day, just to finish one more book?

I had a terrible time getting through a book that's been on my shelf for ages, unread and therefore of unknown desirability. It got better towards the end, but it's going in the giveaway box now. Points of note: a character's demeanour described as both cold and frosty within the same sentence, and a big case of "that's not how viruses work".

Now I can read something better that's been waiting!

Oh, shame that it wasn't much fun. I hope the next one is a much more pleasant experience.

That's real dedication sticking with something like that. Hope the next one is awesome!
