Comics absolutely count! As do audiobooks. Visual novels count, too. ^_^

Thanks. What's a visual novel? Is this a graphic novel?

Visual novels are a form of video game that are text-heavy and basically akin to a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure. You read the story and at important junctures you make a choice on how to proceed.

Basically for the November event, if I'm the one running it, I want to go with maximum inclusiveness. Especially with how busy and complicated the world is right now. ^^;;

Ah thanks. I've not run across that since...the 1980s. A far more rudimentary form, of course. Not to mention more frustrating - since it was MS DOS. Think the old Apple II computers, circa 1981.

Yes, I remember those sorts. ^_^ The genre is still thriving across platforms.
