It's probably still Friday somewhere right? (No, no its really not).
Anyway the first week of the challenge has reached an end. Time to share with the class your triumphs and tribulations. Finish a book? Make a start on something that you've been meaning to get round to for ages? Or finally accept that that one book everyone recommended you is just not your thing and you're never going to get past the second chapter?
Good or bad, its time to spill the beans!

Date: 2013-11-09 08:40 pm (UTC)I've started reading "Mao's Last Dancer" by Li Cunxin and have read the first five chapters and also reading "Halt's Peril" by John Flanagan and have read eight chapters in that. I'm thinking I'll start listening to the next audiobook on the journey to work on Monday, maybe the "Point Omega" by Don DeLillo.
Hope everyone else's week has gone well.
