I'm in the same place I was two weeks ago -- seven borrowed books to finish. But I've now finished three, because in between deciding 'no more library books' and now, I picked up a middle grade book when using up some time at the local library.

Ah... no. The books I've had out of the library since pre-pandemic are still on the shelf unopened. But this does prompt me to think about fitting them into my Litsy reading challenge in place of one of the owned books I have on the list...

I finally finished (and returned) an overdue nonfiction book to the library. I'm all good to go for something old and something new straightaway.

Well done on getting the book done and returned! I'll be starting the 'something old' in a couple of days (assuming I remember), so you can feel good about getting started early :)

So I've just started the final one that was on my list from the first week - I've also finished a couple that were either borrowed from elsewhere or were loans that came in early.

I'm pretty pleased to have got through so many this month, but it's back to reading my own once I've finished Harlem Shuffle as I really need to reduce my own book pile and based on current requests I have 64 days until the next library loan comes in for me - while it has the potential to come in sooner, I think that's unlikely to be in the next month or at least I hope it is *grin*.

This was the perfect month to tackle borrowed books for me and a month of tackling a theme has worked brilliantly too.

Oh, that is fabulous progress, and I'm glad the theme worked for you!

I'll be starting the 'something old' in a few days, with the start of April (and doing a final round up for this challenge next weekend, to give people a couple of days leeway), if you want a theme to tackle for April.

Something old sounds like another one that I could get behind - are there any specifics - as in it's an old book (originally published in times long past) or it's been on the shelf for longer than xx amount of time? TBH I would have plenty for either but don't think I would tackle many of the old (times long past) books consecutively.

Another thought - Is 'something blue' the challenge after this? (If so, I better avoid reading anything with a blue cover this month - lol)

I'm absolutely going to let people decide what 'old' means to them. Your comment gives me some useful text though! And I was thinking that the fourth one will be something blue, so that if I run out of steam before then, at least I left the 'argh, what does that Mean!' one until last.
