fred_mouse: pencil drawing of mouse sitting on its butt reading a large blue book (book)

I was thinking about the wedding superstition poem (something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue) and thought it sounded like a great idea for at least three challenges. I'm planning to run one a month (assuming I remember). And while I could start with something old, I have that many borrowed books, that I'm going to start there.

If you want to join in, tell us about your list of borrowed books (or planned, if you are, say, wait listed for them at the library), your hopes for reading them in March, or anything else related to borrowed books!

Oooh, I like this one!

  1. I have Lament and Ballad by Maggie Stiefvater out from the library and they're on the last renewal and will need to go back before the end of March.
  2. I also have The Complete Guide to the Menopause from the library and have already renewed that once, so it would be good to get it read by 19 March so I don't have to renew again
  3. I have a borrowed copy of An Unkindness of Ghosts by River Solomon that I have had for a terribly long time, so it would be great if I could actually get it read and get it back to its owner

I have both lament and ballad on the shelf so I shal be interested to see your thoughts. I’ve borrowed an audio copy of an unkindness of ghosts that I should get to - maybe this month is the one.
