Are we starting to flag a bit as November grinds on or have we triumphs to share? Anyone defeat a book that's been taunting them for long and weary? Share your reading triumphs and disasters in the comments below.

Date: 2019-11-23 11:48 am (UTC)I'm struggling with 'Shadow of Night' by Deborah Harkness - I just don't seem to be able to get into it properly, but don't dislike it enough to make it an easy decision to give up. In ebook form, I'm now trying 'Children of Blood and Bone' but haven't got very far with it yet and in audio 'Find me' which again I've not really found myself wanting to return to yet. As I still have 5 left on my original list, it's not looking like I will finish my plan to get through them all (particularly as two of them are about 600 pages long and one about 400). I have already finished 17 books though so it's not too much of a disaster.
