glinda: just trying to read (books/reading)

Tis the end of the third week of the challenge and I've finally finished a book from my list! I'm sure you're all doing much better than me, at least I hope so!

Are we starting to flag a bit as November grinds on or have we triumphs to share? Anyone defeat a book that's been taunting them for long and weary? Share your reading triumphs and disasters in the comments below.

Can't believe it! I finally finished The Luminaries - this is a little astounding as the audio version was over 20 hours long and in the sense that it's been on my shelf in book form since 2015 and audio since 2016. I also finished The Chase by Louisa May Alcott (also know as A Long Fatal Love Chase) and a second graphic novel.

This means I have finished all of the audio books on my list - I had hoped to read 2 out of the 4 but have completed all four and started a fifth - The Lost Man by Jane Harper which came in from the library just after I'd started The Luminaries so I needed to get to it quickly because as a new release I can't imagine it won't be popular, so probably won't be available as a renewal for a while if I don't finish it in time.

I've also met my target of finishing The Power of Three by Diana Wynne Jones and two out of 4 other titles. I've also started both of the other two, so may finiah at east one of them before the end of the month.

Needless to say - Nanowrimo has been a disaster! But can't have everything.
