I finally read Ron Hansen's 'Nebraska' and hated it. After hating the entire thing, I found a note in the back from my mother's (now deceased) best friend with her thoughts on it. And maybe that's why my mother wanted me to read it? I don't know. But I returned it to my mother, made sure she saw the note, and now it's finally gone from my shelf.

Also worked on a book about cemeteries that I received for Xmas, and some freebie ebooks that I don't want to have lingering.
