Quick challenge: Pick a book, any book!

I'm seeing the end of the year heading for me very fast, and the list of books I was going to read This Year is nowhere near as small as I want it. So! for this week (umm, say, between now and sometime Sunday) the challenge is to select one book, and focus on finishing it.

What book are you going to try and get to the other end of this week?

I'm doing a reread from several years ago, Karin Boyes "Crisis," cause wow is it a wild ride and I don't think my Swedish was up to the task the first time around.

And then also "A Japanese Nightingale" which is not my cup of tea so far BUT I have a beautiful hardback edition with lots of gorgeous illustrations so I can at least enjoy those!
