I went back to The Chinese Art Book which I had flipped through when I bought it and this time made a concerted effort to start with the info-dense introduction. All in all I managed about 10 pages, crossreferencing the artworks mentioned in the intro. I‘m really glad I finally started some serious reading and learning more.
I read another 6 pages in a Chinese adventure novel and will continue with that later tonight.

Date: 2023-03-27 01:19 pm (UTC)I didn't even find the book I wanted to read! Instead, I read Bow Grip, by Ivan E Coyote, over the course of the weekend. Well worth it. So, this is progress on the set of CanLit I brought home with me after visiting family in January.
