As I'm in one of the later time zones, I'm putting this up a tad early. You know when to start reading~

Check-ins will probably be on Sundays or Mondays, aside from the final one. Promote this however or wherever you'd like. There's no penalties for missing check-ins or not meeting your goal or anything. This is all for fun and is hopefully the lowest of pressure.

If you'd like to leave your reading plans in the comments, whether a vague statement or a detailed list, go ahead!

Thanks for reading along and enjoy~!

I want to try to (re-)read some rpg stuff I've been shoving in a corner for too long.

Also I have violence to do to too many books now that the Google Translate app is cooperating, but that's kind of a different project? Mostly? *lol*

I have four pre-orders for November which I want to ensure I read this month:

  • Ocean's Echo by Everina Maxwell (1 Nov)
  • If There's Anyone Left: Volume 3 edited by Jason P. Burnham and C. M. Fields (2 Nov)
  • Bloodmarked (Legendborn Cycle 2) by Tracy Deonn (8 Nov)
  • The Red Scholar's Wake by Aliette de Bodard (24 Nov)

But first, I have the first three *Bridgerton novels by Julia Quinn out from the library, and because they're ebooks they'll get yanked in 9 days whether I've finished them or not:

  1. The Duke and I
  2. The Viscount Who Loved Me
  3. An Offer From a Gentleman

I also have some paper books out from the library, which I can renew more easily but would like to finish this month:

  • Beartown by Fredrik Backman
  • The Antidote by Oliver Burkeman (non-fiction)
  • Lost Stars by Claudia Gray
  • Fortune's Pawn by Rachel Bach

And for stretch goals, some acquisitions from earlier this year it'd be good to read:

  • Unconquerable Sun by Kate Elliott (bought my own copy after reading a library copy in 2020)
  • The Jasmine Throne by Tasha Suri (reread as it's book 1)
  • The Oleander Sword by Tasha Suri (book 2 out this year)
  • Kill It With Fire by Marianne Bellotti (non-fiction, work-related)

I want to read at least one book in French! And finish Dracula Daily. I'll probably read some other stuff, but that'd all be bonus.
