How did the last week go for you? Did you get some reading done? Any plans for next week?

I have also picked Heartstopper for the challenge -- I've finished the first of the three volumes we have.

I was going to say 'no', but then stopped and thought about it, and I'm not sure. I originally bought them for Youngest, possibly for a birthday (last year?) and they have been on the shelf since then. I more wandered over to the shelf and thought 'oh, that one is bright and colourful'. But 'I've had that mentioned around me and now I'm thinking about it' is plausible too.

I was not paying attention when I first read this, but anyway: I read four volumes of "Yona of the Dawn" yesterday, which was really nice. I still have like 60+ chapters to catch up on, but that's more manga than I've read in a couple months. My plan for this week is to get up to date, particularly now that a number of things are on hiatus, at least for August. I might also pick up the second volume of "The Case Files of Jeweler Richard" the manga, since I really liked the first volume.

Yeah, if you like shoujo, action-adventure, political intrigue, dragons, humor, and pretty and cute art! Also found families, stories about finding your own agency, making friends, pushing for talking over fighting... It's also sort of a reverse-harem? And it's really fun. I just finished volume 27. The anime is unfortunately quite short, and doesn't cover the whole series by any stretch, but it is a very good adaptation, and, on the flip side, relatively short, so it's easy to get through. The animation and music are also very good. So I would definitely recommend both!

I ended up binging all of Hirano to Kagiura (only 16 chapters published so far) and TL;DR it's cute. The next volume of Kaiju No. 8 shipped today, so I will read that later this week once it arrives.
