Pictures Challenge Revival
This is a challenge for all books with a focus on pictures. This includes comics, graphic novels, art books, picture books and anything else that fits this theme for you. Maybe cookbooks or a biography of a painter...whatever works for you!
Length of the challenge: 5 weeks. I'll post a check-in post every weekend.
I figured summer might be a good time to bring this challenge back. I'll browse my shelves and put together a pile of potentials.
Any of you interested in joining me?

I am interested! I'm going to start next weekend though, because I have a few other things on my list this week. I think that aiming to read one item off the graphic novel shelf (poorly labelled, as there are memoirs and other non-fiction in there) per week is a good goal. I'll work on 'what catches my eye' I think!

I'll probably reread Fullmetal Alchemist, as it's been a while since I last read it, and I don't think I've done so since I bought the issues I was missing.

I have also been reading Kaiju No. 8, though I've been waiting for the physical volumes to ship (I believe I get a new one later this month).
I also am debating looking into scans for Umiba no Étranger (cw: homophobia both external and internal). The long and short of that one was someone recc'd the movie, but I was very disappointed in several aspects and am wondering if the manga did a better job or if it's really just Not Great. The movie really jumped all over the place (several timeskips) and didn't develop any of the relationships they showed us. I guess I'm just hoping that the source material is much fuller?
I could also pick up FMA again because I tend to reread it annually anyway, so why not?

Or I could actually pick up the manga I borrowed from a friend and then 'haven't been in the mood for' for months. Hmmmmm...
