I finished The Menopause Manifesto and need to make a little todo list based on what I learned from it. It's the first full-length non-fiction book I've managed to read in a long time so it's nice to know I can do that (even if takes me over a month and multiple instalments).

I started The Jasmine Throne and am very much enjoying it. Not going to be difficult to find time to finish this one.

I did not manage to write any kind of review. Oh well, maybe next time.

I finished my book club book the day before the meeting, which was all I wanted, so hooray!

Empire of the Vampire is officially a DNF. I read about 300 pages wanting to see how bad it would get and it just kept getting worse and not in the funny way. But I gave it a shot!

Oh goodness, I'm sorry it didn't get better. That is more than a fair shot, I'd say.

But now I know and chucked it back at the library this morning guilt-free.

In the three hours I spent on transit this weekend I finished The Wicked Cometh great until the "jumped the shark and then one more for good measure" ending, and read the first several chapters of Garth Nix's Angel Mage.
