48-hour Trainreads Challenge

I will be spending 8 of the next 48 hours on trains, so it's time for another Trainreads Challenge, where I will try to use that time for reading rather than endless doomscrolling.

I'm making this post approx 10:30 Friday morning UK time; I'll make a check-in post about 10:30-11:00 Sunday morning. If you want to join in: set yourself realistic goals given your time in the next 48 hours, and see you on the other side.

Goals:

• finish The Menopause Manifesto - I'm in the back quarter of it, I can get this done!
• start The Jasmine Throne by Tasha Suri and/or The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski
• write (by hand, for transcription later) a review of something I've read in the last two months. Three sentences counts.
