November Group Read: Third Check-In

We're heading into the home stretch! How's the reading going?

For added optional discussion, if you'd like- Have you added anything unexpected to your TBR pile this month? Or have you stuck to your plan?

I didn't DNF anything this week which is good.

I've now finished 'The Swan Thieves' and 'Rebel of the Sands' along with 'How Superfoods work' and 'Sherlock Holmes: Beyond the Elementary' and I'm on the final story of 'The Cranford Chronicles'.

Although I've stuck to my plan, I've added some shorter reads in between titles that I've borrowed rather than ones I own along with a title in the first week because I had the option of buying titles later in the series in an offer and I wasn't sure if I was going to want them or not. I'm still on track as I've dealt with 9 books from my original list of 14 and the aim was to deal with 10 (I say deal with as DNFing was an option and I've done that twice so far).

So long as I can finish one more title from the original list this week, I've succeeded and then some. I'm considering that a success. Let's not look too closely at the books acquired and added to the overall TBR pile though!

I met my goal! :) Managed to finally finish a non-study book. Will try to fit in another one before the end of the month.

I didn't finish anything from my list this week, although I made progress on League of Dragons.

As far as unexpected additions to the TBR pile, although I haven't acquired any new books, I swapped out Vesper Sands for Diana L. Paxson's The White Rave because after finishing Isolde last week I needed a palate-cleansing better retelling of the Tristan and Iseult story.
