November Group Read: Check in the Third
Nov. 20th, 2020 11:13 pmIt's the end of week three of the challenge, how goes it for all of you? Hope you've all had a better reading week than I have, mine really doesn't bear close scrutiny! (I finished a book! It wasn't one from my list/pile.)
Are we starting to flag a bit as November grinds on or have we triumphs to share? Anyone defeat a book that's been taunting them for long and weary? Share your reading triumphs and disasters in the comments below.

Date: 2020-11-21 08:08 am (UTC)Have to say that both Fractured (second part of the slated series) and Bad Pharma were good. I highly recommend Ben Goldacre for anyone interested in popular Science/medicine writing.
I've made a bit of a start on Dissolution and will alternate bits of Vanity Fair with Angel by LJ Ross this week. I'm on track to have finished 10 books this month which was the first part of my goal (I've already finished 9), they will all have been from the waiting pile (also part of my goal), the only aspect that I'm dragging behind on is I'm now on book 6 of the 7 I'd listed with Dissolution, but I'm not sure I'm going to have time to make it through it and no 7 in paper form (some of the others have been audio books which means I can listen while doing other none brain challenging things like the washing up or crocheting Christmas presents).
