I spoiled my final result in last week's post already but I am shameless enough to just repeat it here and also add to it.

So, my adjusted November goal was to finish the one book I was currently reading, "Temptation Shock" by Neal Stephenson. I am very happy to announce again that I did finish it on Thursday so with a little time left, yay!

It is a climate thriller or near-future sf novel set on multiple continents featuring the Queen of the Netherlands as one of the main protagonists. She is on a mission to help keep her country from
going underwater as sea levels keep rising due to global warming. The book was overall a fun read even though the Queen's main name to be called was the same name a friend of mine had who died by suicide last year. So always reading that name made it hard for me to read the book and it made me abandon the earlier goal of starting another novel in November. Aside from that, the book was also sometimes quite technical and for my liking, could have used some more focus on character development. But at the end, I found myself wanting a sequel anyway. Sadly, it appears that there is no sequel or at least not yet.

Anyway, I am super thrilled with my November reading results. This is always such a enjoyable challenge. Thanks everyone for being here and special thanks to the mods for making it happen! :D
