November Group Read: Ready, Steady, Read!

Alright, so that was an overwhelmingly positive response so let's do the thing.

Checkins will be on Wednesdays except for the final one which will be a Thursday! As ever, there are no penalties for checkin in late, missing a check-in or not making your target. So my target for this year is to read 4 books that I've started and not finished. I've made a preliminary list but you can absolutley guarantee that I'll think of something else I should have added to it the moment I hit post so it may well be subject to change.

I've read The Starless Sea and Record of a Spaceborn Few. I really like Becky Chambers' books. Pretty sure I read most if not all of Paradise Lost when I was at university many many years ago.

I've been looking forward to them both! I really love Becky Chambers' books too, unfortunately I started Record of a Spaceborn Few early in the first lockdown and it took the brunt of my pandemic brain inability to read fiction, and I bounced off it hard knowing full well it was me not the book! :/ (I've got The Galaxy and the Ground Within on my shelf too, but I daren't start it until I've got over my thing with Spaceborn Few first.)

If you like audiobooks, Gideon the Ninth is EXCELLENTLY narrated by Moira Quirk.
