And another week's over. How are you doing with the challenge?

I actually picked a book, and read it! To be fair, I actually picked two, took them with me on a reading date, and didn't start either of them, but read one when I got home.

What I read: Gender queer by Maia Kobabe, which I've been planning to read for years. Very very much recommend if you like graphic memoir, 5 stars. (this was bought for the offspring to read at the age I felt they needed it, and I've only just got around to it).

Up next: Baking with Kafka by ?Tom Gauld. This was a gift that I requested some years ago, and suspect I'm going to greatly appreciated.

I'm about halfway through my Digger reread, which is pretty good for a massive graphic novel that I've only been reading in small spurts. Digger has just discovered Murai's backstory, left the hag's house, and gone back to visit Ed again after their parting in danger.

Every time I reread Digger I'm reminded again of how much I love all the little visual details that the author tucks into the scenes - everything from the body language of the nonhuman characters, to an 'Easter egg" with a character from another series boating along in the edge of a frame. Very fun! (I'm also reminded that somehow I still don't have a Digger icon; what?!)

Oh! I should reread Digger.

.. an icon you say. Hmm. Somewhere around here I have a foam ?pickaxe that reads 'We remember tunnel 17' and I should be able to do something with that....

Now all I have to do is remember that

I would be interested in hearing about the artists, if you have the time/energy to add detail!

Me + plans == something different. Small plans are okay, very specific types of plans mostly okay, everything else fails. But I did get to read a great book, so I don't actually mind.

I finished a graphic novel that's been sitting on my desk for weeks: "The Adventure Zone" volume 5, "The Eleventh Hour", which I thoroughly enjoyed, even more than the previous volumes!

Fabulous. Looking forward to it.
