I'm about halfway through my Digger reread, which is pretty good for a massive graphic novel that I've only been reading in small spurts. Digger has just discovered Murai's backstory, left the hag's house, and gone back to visit Ed again after their parting in danger.
Every time I reread Digger I'm reminded again of how much I love all the little visual details that the author tucks into the scenes - everything from the body language of the nonhuman characters, to an 'Easter egg" with a character from another series boating along in the edge of a frame. Very fun! (I'm also reminded that somehow I still don't have a Digger icon; what?!)
